Why I Became An IRONDame
For seven years, I coached a breast cancer survivor dragon boat team called “Knot A Breast”. This was a very rewarding experience, which taught me meaningful lessons. After a three year hiatus in community involvement I felt it was time to give again. I believe in the IRONDames’ cause and my personal relationship with Marla Ashmore influenced my decision to join the team.
