Its time to dig out your Canada t-shirts, hats and mitts and wear them with pride!
Just a day after Hayley Wickenheiser led our Canadian Team in the Parade of Nations into the Sochi 2014 Opening Ceremony our athletes are already breaking Canadian records garnering Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in the 1st full day of competition. Sisters Justine Dufour-Lapointe and Chloé Dufour-Lapointe placed 1, 2 in ladies molguls after Mark Morris overcame a broken rib to place 3 and win Canada’s first medal of the 22nd Winter Games in snowboarding’s slopestyle’s debut final earlier in the day.
We would like to wish all our Canadian Olympic athletes competing in Sochi the strength to dig deep and give it their all so as to fulfill their potential and revel in their Olympic dream!
