On Saturday, November 30th 2013, Scrivener’s Men’s Apparel, located at 389 Brant Street in downtown Burlington is holding a special event where they will donate $100.00 from every Robert Graham shirt sold that day to Carpenter Hospice.
“Robert Graham shirtings are eclectic in nature and add a little spice to a man’s wardrobe. So much so that there is a cult following that eagerly awaits the new patterns as they arrive. The colour palette is dazzling, shirts wild but look great in a pair of denims.” ~ Dan Bishop, Scrivener’s Men’s Apparel
Carpenter Hospice is a 10 bedroom, 7,500 square foot home built in a quiet setting in Burlington that provides individuals who are dying, and their families, with high quality palliative care in a home-like setting. The home was built entirely from donations from the residents and businesses in Burlington and opened on May 25, 2002. Since opening in May 2002, Carpenter Hospice has served more than 1,600 residents who have ranged in age from 21 to 103 years all at no cost. Carpenter Hospice’s services also extend beyond residential care to their Wellness Program and Bereavement Support Program.
The IRONDames and Scrivener’s Men’s Apparel strongly believe in the invaluable support that Carpenter Hospice provides to residents in Burlington. Please drop by Scrivener’s Men’s Apparel this Saturday to meet Robert Graham representative Harry Walsh and purchase a Robert Graham shirt for that special man in your life. It’s the perfect gift to spice up his holiday wardrobe and by doing so you will be safeguarding a place in Burlington for our loved ones to live and die with dignity.
