Wishing all those running the 118th Boston Marathon Tomorrow, Monday, April 21 2014 the joy of fellowship and competitive sport.

Our best wishes to fellow IRONDames and TCoB athletes Hélène Desrosiers and Gail Burgess who form part of the 2,447 Canadians that will be taking part in tomorrow’s race.

Roughly 36,000 participants are expected to compete in this, the running of the 118th Boston Marathon, making it the second-biggest turnout in the race’s history. (About 38,000 ran in the race’s 100-year anniversary.) Of the 36,000 competing tomorrow, 4,781, including Gail Burgess are returning because they were unable to the reach the finish line after the bombs went off.
