IRONDames Andrea Buzza, Judy Gibson and Sonja Bedic manned the IRONDames’ Tent at The City of Burlington’s Civic Square, providing water, eload energy gels and more to race participants that stopped by the tent to find out more about our Construction Campaign to raise $200,000 in support of WELLSPRING Birmingham Gilgan House’s New Cancer Exercise Facility, make a donation or purchase one of our custom IRONDame’s Original Buffs.
Check out the terrific times that were achieved by the IRONDames who competed on Saturday night:
Cindy Mattie finished 10th in her age group in a chip time of 29:45.
Ashley Schizas, her friend Chantal Rohlen and IRONDame Mom Kim Schizas raced together and finished in chip times of 44:06, 44:07 and 44:12.
Hélène Desrosiers finished 37th overall and 2nd in her age group in a chip time of 46:30!
Gail Burgess finished 77th overall and 1st in her age group in a chip time of 50:44!
Mom and daughter, Grace and Alana Armstrong finished with chip times of 1:01:55 and 1:01:01, placing 3rd and 12th in their respective age groups.
Shirley Speakman finished in a chip time of 1:06:42.
