A Daughter’s First 10K In Support Of The IRONDames’ Construction Campaign! ~ June 8 2013

On Saturday, June 8th Ali will be running her first 10k with her Mom, IRONDame Julie Miller-Boothe at the Rocca Sisters’ Healing For Women’s Cancers in support of Breast Cancer Support Services at Bronte Provincial Park in Oakville, Ontario. The 10K distance is a goal that Ali and her Mom have both been working toward, most recently completing the IRONDames’ 4th Annual Lace up for LOVE’s Mother’s Day 5K run together!

Inspired by friend and IRONDame founder Kim Kearns Pace, Julie’s children have adopted the “Believe, Inspire, Persevere” mantra as part of how they live their lives. Ali’s 10K goal is just one example of this and Julie and Ali are really excited about crossing the Finish Line on Saturday morning together.

Have a great 10K run Ali and Julie! We can’t wait to read what we think will be the first of many 10K Race Reports Ali!
