Why I Became an IRONDame
I became an IRONDame because (their) main goal is to fund raise for the cancer exercise program at Wellspring Halton-Peel. This exercise program was a lifeline to me during my cancer surgery and treatments. The physiotherapists provided expertise and support during my recovery. Exercise was really important in helping me to cope with my treatments and now to prevent recurrence. Wellspring is a place where cancer patients can go and participate in an individualized exercise program created by professional physiotherapists and kinesiologists. It is a fantastic resource.
How Long I’ve Been an IRONDame
I am a new member of the IRONDames and I am delighted to be a part of such a great group of women dedicated to sport and fitness.
